We provide complete maintenance and repair services for ALL V6 and V8 SHO'S and currently working on publishing a detailed list of services and prices to the site.  In the meanwhile, please feel free to email us with your service quesitons.  Please be specific about the services you are inquiring about, and leave a contact phone number.  With the exception of cam welding and intake cleaning services, all other maintenance and repair services are only available at our Spencer, MA shop.

►Flat-Rate Clutch / Engine / Transmission Services

For a flat-rate labor price of $700, we will install your new clutch, motor or transmission in your V6 or V8 SHO.  This price includes all consumables (fluids, etc.) used during the service, but does not include any additional parts required to complete the service, including any parts that are damaged or not reusable for any reason.  Additional parts must be provided by the customer or paid for in advance of a flat-rate service.  For example, for a clutch job, you must provide a new clutch, throwout bearing and quill sleeve, or you can purchase one from us, but the actual clutch parts are not included in the $700 labor price.

►Intake Cleaning Service

We are now pleased to offer an intake cleaning service, both at our Spencer, MA shop and at camfest locations for those cars that have already had their cams welded.  We recommend this service at every 25000-30000 miles after the cam weld service.

Basically, an intake cleaning service is the same as a cam weld service, with the exception that the valve covers are not removed or the cams welded.  The following list details exactly what is included:

• Engine disassembly to remove upper and lower intake manifolds

• Complete cleaning of upper intake manifold to remove all carbon, sludge, gasoline and oil residue

• Complete cleaning of lower intake manifold and lubrication of secondary butterflies to ensure trouble-free IMRC operation

• Eight brand new genuine Motorcraft AGSF32FM "Fine Wire" factory-specified spark plugs

• Upper and lower intake manifold gaskets cleaned and re-coated (sadly, new gaskets are no longer available)

• Coil pack rotation* (installation of replacement coils incur no additional labor charge when done during an intake cleaning)

• Installation of insulation between the top of the rear valve cover and wiring harness to prevent the harness from melting and shorting due to the extreme heat trapped at the rear of the engine

• Oil change service including a new filter and 6.5 quarts of premium factory-specified 5W30 oil is available for an additional $25 ($20 for customer-provided oil and filter)

• Engine reassembly to factory specifications

• Complete cleaning of vanity cover

Current price for this service is $500.00** when performed at our shop in Spencer, MA.  This service usually takes approximately 2 to 3 hours.  We offer both drop-off and while-you-wait service.  

* Coil pack rotation means that the front four coils are reinstalled in the rear, and the rear coils are installed in the front.  It is our experience that the rear coils tend to fail first due to the excessive heat trapped at the rear of the engine.  By moving those coils to the front, if one of those coils does fail in the future, it becomes a very easy DIY (Do-it-Yourself) project to replace a front coil as opposed to a rear!

**Camfest pricing is generally slightly higher than the price charged at our shop in Spencer, MA due to the additional travel expenses incurred.  These additional costs fluctuate depending on the location of the camfest, and the total number of cars to be serviced.  Final pricing is usually set no later than two weeks prior to the camfest.

►V6 SHO Maintenance and Repair Services

►Environmental Compliance and Supplies Surcharge

In order to dispose of used parts, materials, and fluids in an environmentally responsible manner, as well as to help defray the overhead costs of certain shop supplies (rags, gloves, etc.), a surcharge of 8% will be added to all customer invoices.  This charge will not apply to flat-rate priced services such as camwelds, motor installations, etc., which have these costs built into their prices already.

►Towing Service Available!

We can tow your SHO to our shop for service from pretty much anywhere.  Your car must be on four wheels and roll-able, as we use a flatbed trailer for towing.  The charge for this service is usually a $50 dispatch charge, plus $1.20 per mile, plus any tolls.  Depending on the scope of the services you are having done, we may be able to offer a discounted price.  

This service is not offered as a roadside assistance tow.  If you have broken down on a public way, you will need to have your car towed off the road by a local tow company with authority to tow off public roads.  We can however pick your car up at the tow facility or at any other private property that you have it towed to.  Please call Kirk directly at 508-963-5899 if you are interested in having us tow your car.

►Special Projects

We are always looking to take on special projects.  Most such projects are usually taken on a "as time permits" basis.  What this means is that all other routine paying customer work comes first, and your project is worked on when we have no other scheduled work.  This allows the project to be more cost-effective by spreading your charges out over time, providing a reduced hourly labor rate, and allowing you and us the best opportunity to find the best prices on parts rather than getting the closest part fastest at a higher price.  Since the project is taken on an "as time permits" basis, any estimated completion date is completely arbitrary and actual completion may take much longer depending on our schedule.  Accelerated completion dates usually require clearing our schedule and as a result the full normal shop hourly labor rate will apply.

Special projects are quoted on a very broad estimate since the nature and scope of the project often changes as it's progressing.  Generally, a 1/3rd deposit is required up-front, another 1/3rd is due halfway through the project, and the remaining 1/3rd is due upon delivery.  Certain projects that are very involved, have a lot of custom parts or outside work (machine shop, transmission shop, etc.) will require additional payments as those portions of the project are completed.

In the event that a project is cancelled either by the customer or NESHO, parts and materials, labor, outside work, storage, etc. will all be calculated and any outstanding balance must be paid before the car and any parts are released to the customer.  In the event of a credit balance, that amount will be refunded when the customer comes to pick up the car.  When a project is cancelled by the customer, any special labor rate previously quoted becomes null and void and all labor hours will be calculated at the normal shop rate.  In circumstances when the customer has requested (or the project necessitates) inside storage, such storage charges shall be calculated from the time the project was first commenced until such time as the customer removes the vehicle from our facility, and those charges must be paid in full prior to the car being released to the customer.  In circumstances of a project cancellation, NESHO reserves the right to determine if inside storage is in the best interest of both NESHO and the customer, and the customer agrees to pay for all inside storage charges.

►Storage for your Car!

We now offer storage for your SHO!  Monthly pricing is available for winter storage, storage to keep your driveway clear, or any time before or after we are working on your car.  We can offer both inside and outside storage.  Outside storage when we are working on your car is generally FREE unless the car is here for more than three months without having any work completed and in which case a low monthly rate will be charged.  Inside storage may be quoted on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis depending on the length of time needed for storage and any work you may be having done.  In the event of a project cancellation, inside storage will be calculated on a daily basis starting with the first full business day your car is on our property at a rate of $30 per day, outside storage at a rate of $10 per day. We reserve the right to dispose of any car abandoned on our property for 30 days or more without notice.
